Hi, I'm Karoline, a freelance writer specialising in outdoor adventures and storytelling. Based in the stunning Swiss Alps, I draw inspiration from my daily explorations and active lifestyle. My work has been recognised by the London Festival of Writing, where I was shortlisted in 2024, and by Tadpole Press, which longlisted me in their 100-Word Writing Contest in June 2025.

Living in Interlaken, I balance writing my book with working at a paragliding company, all while pursuing my passion for adventure. When I’m not crafting my latest chapter, you’ll find me scaling cliffs or biking along mountain roads, fully immersing myself in the breathtaking Swiss scenery.

My journey began with a master’s degree in Publishing from Oxford Brookes University, where I honed my skills in editorial management, digital publishing technologies, and content strategy. This education not only provided me with a deep understanding of the publishing industry but also laid the foundation for my career as a versatile writer.

During my travels after completing my degree, I immersed myself in diverse cultures, gaining valuable insights into the intricacies of the human experience. This broadened my worldview and enriched my writing with a nuanced understanding of global themes and perspectives.

I’m currently available for writing projects.
